Estimator / Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented roof and siding Estimator / Project Manager to join our construction team. This role is pivotal in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and overseeing project execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess estimating experience, excellent negotiation skills, and comprehensive construction site experience. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates using Builder Trend, Microsoft 365 and other estimating software tools.
• Develop accurate pricing models considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure comprehensive understanding of scope.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to negotiate terms and secure competitive pricing.
• Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the preparation of bid proposals and assist in presenting them to clients.
• Coordinate with construction management teams to ensure project scope aligns with estimates and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget integrity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations on-site.
• Assist in contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in roof and siding estimating, project management, or related roles within the construction industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms for projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site management, and cost control strategies.
• Experience working on construction sites is highly preferred. Climbing on ladders and roofs is a requirement.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of contracts management and construction law is a plus. This position is integral to ensuring successful project delivery through precise estimation and effective project oversight. We value candidates who are proactive problem-solvers with a passion for construction excellence.

Pay: $ $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
