Porter/Dishwasher

We are seeking a dedicated Porter/Dishwasher to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Moonachie, New Jersey, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pastry small wares, pastry sheet pans, pots, and pans.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Place clean dishes, small wares, and pastry equipment in designated storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies, such as food and packaging, in designated areas.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of service areas.
• Clean and restock bathrooms and office spaces as needed.
• Assist with receiving and putting away new inventory.
• Move pallets and other heavy items as required to support kitchen operations.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as reach, bend, lift, carry, grasp, and stoop.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs as part of regular job duties.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Fluent or strong English skills preferred to follow instructions and communicate with the team.
