Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a part-time vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer with D and G licenses for special events for January 24, 2026, and February 17 through March 17 to ensure the safety and security of our clients, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to security incidents. Prior law enforcement or military experience is highly valued. The Armed Security Officer plays a critical role in loss prevention and safeguarding property through proactive security measures and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to security breaches or emergencies
• Enforce security protocols and access controls to protect personnel and property
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate incidents
• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports for future reference
• Assist law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or investigations
• Conduct loss prevention activities to minimize theft or damage within the premises
• Maintain a visible presence to reassure staff and visitors of their safety

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
• Strong background in conflict management, loss prevention, and security operations
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively

Requirements

• Must have D security and G armed license, driver's license, weapons qualification score card and have your own weapon, duty belt and armored vest, pass background check
• Have black pants and boots, company will provide polo shirts and hats, must be well always groomed
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift with breaks allowed. Have a pleasant attitude.

Pay

· $18 - $20 per hour
