Our Healthcare platform leads the way at the intersection of infrastructure and applications, utilizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to enhance some of the industry's largest healthcare applications. By supporting this vision, you will help develop a comprehensive platform that manages the entire database lifecycle—from provisioning to upgrades to termination. We are looking for passionate Database Administrators who are experts in Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle Autonomous Database, especially those eager to deepen their skills in cloud technologies. Responsibilities As a Database Administrator, you will oversee the management of Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure Databases (both Production and Non-Production). Your key responsibilities will include: Monitoring database performance and managing capacity. Triage database alerts and issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Managing and maintaining healthcare Non-production, Standby, Golden Gate, and Production databases. Setting up and overseeing database backups and monitoring replication. Applying software updates and hotfixes to customer environments. Collaborating with third-party software or hardware vendors to ensure optimal configurations. Creating standardized work plans, documentation, processes, and automation. Being proactive in maintaining stable and high-performing databases to fulfill our customer commitments. Additionally, you will be involved in OHAI roadmap projects, including migrating databases to Oracle Cloud and implementing Autonomous Databases. Minimum Qualifications At least 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA. 1 year of experience with scalable, cloud-native distributed systems. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software, Electronics, Operational Research, or Computer System Engineering. Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment. A strong understanding of Computer Science principles. Proficiency in Python, Perl, and/or Shell Scripting. Experience managing production databases on UNIX systems (RHEL, OEL). Skills: Expertise in Oracle Database. Knowledge of Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture & Exadata. Proficiency in high availability and replication technologies (Data Guard, Goldengate). Advanced scripting skills in Shell, Perl, and Python. Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database. Compensation and Benefits: The hiring range is between $30.29 and $60.63 per hour, with an annual salary from $63,000 to $126,100.
