- Temporary Position; 4 months (72 hours/2 week pay period)
- M-F, 8A- 4:30P
- Facilitating recruitment initiatives, job posting, offers, references, and background checks
- Data entry, produce reports and maintain HRIS system
- Maintain unemployment claims process
- Maintain accident and injury reports
- Maintain ongoing maintenance of personnel files and records retention
- Maintain online web-based learning systems and functions as the system administrator
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Administrative support
- High level of skills in handling sensitive and confidential situations/information
- Requires a strong team player who can effortlessly manage a host of key details simultaneously
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent responsive customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality- oriented mindset
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- One to three years Human Resources experience desired
- Proficient in MS Office, previous experience working with Kronos HRIS preferred
- Timekeeping and back up for payroll processing
- HR certification or PHR desirable
Duties
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting and scheduling interviews
- Maintain employee records
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis
- Time Keeping
Qualifications
- Some education; Associate's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or related role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workforce management, Taleo, iCIMS)
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Kronos/ADP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques and succession planning strategies
