Your Impact & What You'll Do:

We need an X-Ray Technician/ Medical Assistant to join our team You must have a certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and prior experience as an X-Ray technologist.

Your role as the X-Ray Technologist:

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for preparing the X-ray room for the proper procedure, answering patient questions about imaging procedures, and performing quality imaging services in an efficient and effective manner. Namely, you must maintain use of proper positioning, beam restriction, and patient shielding to produce quality imaging and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. You must maintain knowledge of all equipment to provide a safe environment for patients, physicians, and staff, and properly document X-Ray studies performed. You must regularly inspect the X-Ray equipment to ensure it is in proper working order, perform startup procedures, troubleshoot equipment and software malfunctions, and properly inform the supervising staff.This role includes but is not limited to performance of basic X-rays of the chest, pelvis, upper and lower extremities.

Working Conditions:

This job is center-based, and requires working in a clinical setting. The noise level is moderate and there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens. The ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Schedule / Pay:

Position Type: Part-time or Full-time

Pay: $35-55/ hour

Education / Experience / Required Licensure:

● ARRT and CRT (state) Certification - Required

● Possess venipuncture skills - preferred

● Must have BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.

● 1-year experience minimum; at least 2 years experience preferred

● Prior EMR experience - preferred

● Must have experience with Insurance Verification

● Must have familiarity with HIPAA policies

● Multilingual with ability to speak Spanish, Korean, or other languages a plus
