Key Responsibilities: Lead the mission and strategy for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing within a product vertical.
Build and manage a high-performing BI and Data Warehousing team designed for scalability.
Foster cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to accurately gauge data needs and fulfill those requirements.
Oversee data warehouse initiatives, ensuring high data quality and operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and implement new data models and pipelines in production.
Create impactful dashboards and data visualizations to inform decision-making.
Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data sets and processes in production.
Enhance project management leadership, efficiency, and a vision for how BI can proactively elevate the organization.
Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of professional experience (2+ years with a Ph.D.) in applied analytics, including 2+ years managing analytics teams.
8+ years in BI and Data Warehousing.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in initiating and completing BI, data warehousing, and/or analytical projects with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills for presenting analysis results to executive leadership.
Project management expertise.
Solid background in data architecture.
Proficient in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and development in at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, etc.).
2+ years of experience managing and scaling teams of 3 or more individuals.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Product Management.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Big Data technologies, Hadoop, and data visualization tools.
Advanced degree (Master’s, Ph.D.) is a plus.
Experience with user-facing products.
Public Compensation: $177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Industry:
