Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting where your contributions directly impact operational excellence.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Conduct repairs including welding, electrical work, plumbing fixes, and residential painting as needed to maintain facility standards.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
  • Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service excellence.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting with experience working with schematics and electrical components.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in welding techniques suitable for repair and fabrication tasks.
  • Knowledge of residential painting techniques for minor aesthetic repairs.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $15.50 per hour
