About the Role HCH Enterprises is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator with hands-on experience in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) to join our technology consulting team. This role supports enterprise Windows environments for clients in the government and healthcare sectors, with a focus on endpoint management, software deployment, and systems automation.
Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure including distribution points, site servers, and management points. Develop and deploy operating system images, task sequences, and driver packages for enterprise-scale deployments. Create and manage software packages, applications, and deployment collections to support client software distribution needs. Configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Build and optimize SCCM reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services to support compliance and operational metrics. Troubleshoot endpoint management issues and provide escalation support for complex technical problems. Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with security teams to ensure patch management compliance and vulnerability remediation. Participate in client engagements including assessments, implementations, and managed services delivery.
Qualifications 3-5 years of experience administering Windows Server and SCCM/MECM environments. Demonstrated experience building OSD task sequences, application packaging, and software update management. Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows networking fundamentals. Experience with SQL Server queries for SCCM reporting and troubleshooting. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent modern certifications). Experience supporting government clients. Exposure to co-management scenarios with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager. Experience with WSUS, PKI, or certificate-based authentication. Understanding of NIST, or other compliance frameworks relevant to our client base.
