Job Description
Location : Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type : Full Time | Pay : $24/hr | Schedule : Monday - Friday As a Utility Technician with recall duties at Norm Reeves Ford , you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of production and quality assurance, with a specific focus on conducting recall inspections of vehicles. In addition to your PDI responsibilities, you will perform routine maintenance services. What You'll Do:
* Conduct recalls to ensure they meet Ford's quality standards and specifications. * Perform visual and functional checks of vehicle components, systems, and features according to established inspection procedures. * Identify and document any defects, damages, or issues discovered during the inspection process, and coordinate with appropriate teams for resolution. * Carefully performing oil changes, battery checks, topping off fluids * Inspecting brake linings and making adjustments if necessary * Rotating tires and implementing tire repairs according to vehicle standards * Effectively mounting and balancing tires * Performing alignment checks * Conducting multi-point inspections (121-point inspection) * Assisting in various minor services including software updates, key programming, and replacing windshield wipers * Performing other duties as needed
What You'll Need:
* Full time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old * A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record * Experience at an Automotive School or Program * Automotive 609 Certificate a plus * Prior dealership experience a plus
