divh2Systems Administrator/h2pAbacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Quantico. This is a full-time position./ppMajor Duties Responsibilities:/pulliProvide IT systems administration, including planning for, installing, and maintaining computer systems, including physical and virtual servers, storage area networks and network attached storage on five enclaves./liliPerform performance monitoring and tuning, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, as well as troubleshooting and problem resolution./liliDevelop and maintain schedules and plans for system updates and patching./liliManage Group Policy Objects./liliReport on system uptime and SLA performance./liliAudit server utilization./liliAssist in building, coordinating, maintaining, changing, and updating, the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (AA) packages for the five enclaves administered by AFOSI./liliEnsure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA STIGs or Security Requirements Guidance./liliIdentify and report system risks./li/ulpQualifications:/pulli3 years experience in systems administration in a Windows based environment./liliBachelors degree in a related field desired./liliMust be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8570 certification requirements)./liliMicrosoft certification a plus./liliStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Administration, scripting, and Windows configuration techniques./liliExperience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022; MS SQL Server 2016 and 2019; and VMWare ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN, and Horizon./liliExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining servers with Microsoft Windows./liliExperience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects./liliAble to assess server infrastructure and configuration and identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions./liliExperience with security as it pertains to server infrastructure, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS)./liliMust have experience with RMF and STIGs./liliWorking knowledge of IT Systems Maintenance Compliance processes to include information assurance vulnerability management (IAVM)./liliExperience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts./liliExperience administering servers in a virtualized production environment using VMWare vSphere 7.x or 8.x technology./liliExperience with Storage Area Networks desired./liliExperience with DoD IT environment and networks./liliExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations./liliMust be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI)./liliApplicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information./li/ul/div
