Design and build new features for the Snowflake Feature Store in collaboration with senior engineers.
Write, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable code in Java and Python.
Help incorporate new advances in machine learning into our platform.
Contribute to the operational excellence of our services by improving reliability and performance.
Collaborate with engineers on partner teams to build integrated and seamless ML solutions for customers.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
2+ years of industry experience (or equivalent internship/project experience) designing and building data-intensive systems or software.
Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems).
A passion for building scalable, high-performance systems.
A growth mindset and an eagerness to learn and solve complex problems.
BS in Computer Science or a related degree; MS/PhD is a plus.
Bonus Points:
Experience with ML data management and/or streaming , low latency data serving infrastructure.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
