Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you’ll bring specialized clinical expertise, disciplined decision-making, and a commitment to excellence to every Participant you serve. You’ll complete comprehensive evaluations, design individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy to help Participants maintain and improve functional mobility, independence, and quality of life.
This position is ideal for someone who is driven, detail-focused, and confident in their clinical skills. You’ll work within a structured care model, uphold established quality standards, and support others through clear, technical communication and training. Your work will span the center, Participants’ homes, and healthcare facilities — always with a focus on safe, accurate, and timely care.
Compensation:
Eligible for IDT Incentive Plan, up to $3,600 paid quarterly.
Mileage Reimbursement: Seventy cents per mile.
Schedule:
First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and ongoing evaluations.
Review medical history and establish individualized plans of care and treatment goals.
Provide therapeutic exercise, activities, gait training, and physical modalities.
Recommend durable medical equipment, orthotics, and prosthetics.
Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
Provide clinical training to caregivers, families, and staff.
Develop and guide restorative and wellness programs.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as required.
Deliver therapy in multiple settings including the center, homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.
Communicate Participant changes promptly to the care team.
Participate in the coordination of 24-hour care delivery.
Maintain strong professional relationships with Participants, caregivers, families, and healthcare partners.
Take part in Quality Initiative programs and ongoing training.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education and Experience:
Must hold a current PT license within the state you are practicing in.
Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus — but not required. We’ll provide hands-on training and mentoring to help you grow!
Demonstrate clinical competency with the geriatric population.
Requirements:
Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening.
Physical Requirements:
Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to lifting, carrying, and supporting participants and equipment.
Must be able to drive a motor vehicle.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
