What You Will Be Doing: Configuring and maintaining Linux-based servers and supporting the development, testing, and production hosting of custom enterprise business applications on behalf of a Government customer. Contributing to application and database migration activities. Developing scripts for automation of build-out, maintenance, and configuration of virtualized systems. Deployment of updates, IAVA patches, and Anti-Virus updates. Maintaining web application hosting systems to include web servers, database servers, and associated development systems (e.g. Team Foundation Server). Maintaining system reliability and uptime of production applications by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. Contributing to system configuration management in accordance with contract inventory and customer requirements. Creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation including process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system documentation. Coordination with customer ISSE to ensure security accreditation of all project IT systems. This includes writing documentation and plans to successfully navigate ICD 503 and customers unique security requirements. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and communications problems. Must Have: MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances. Security Certification (IAT level 2 or higher). Amazon Web Services (AWS) (C2S) systems administration. Linux operating systems (e.g. Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Fedora, Scientific Linux, Debian, Amazon L2 etc.). Microsoft Active Directory. Microsoft Windows Server. Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). Microsoft SQL Server. MySQL. Ability to manage multiple priority tasks. Self-motivated task identification. Nice to Have: AWS Certification (AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS SysOps. Deploying AWS features (Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancer, CloudWatch, Lambda, Elastic Container Service).
