Your role and responsibilities Lead and coach a team of software engineers to achieve high performance. Support the career development of individuals while building and delivering Boundary products to a rapidly growing customer base. Recruit and nurture a diverse engineering team. Collaborate with product management and design as a key engineering figure. Coordinate with various functions and stakeholders for meticulous roadmap planning. Influence architectural decisions and technical direction. Guarantee high-quality products through effective testing and release methodologies. Oversee the entire lifecycle of feature development, from design through testing and release to operations. Required technical and professional expertise Minimum of 3 years in software engineering management. Experience managing both development and operational workflows. Participation in an on-call rotation. Background in collaborating with remote and distributed teams. Preferred technical and professional experience Experience managing full stack teams (frontend and backend engineers). Exposure to systems software and services using Go and Javascript. Expertise in one or more major public cloud services. Experience enhancing observability, reliability, and availability for large-scale distributed systems.
