This position is remote but requires availability during standard business hours aligned with the client’s US time zone. Please be aware that employment is contingent upon project award. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with project managers on various initiatives, tracking progress and offering support as needed. Assist leadership in ensuring project adherence to specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. Collaborate with management and teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date work plans. Monitor project status, deadlines, and relationships with project staff. Provide regular weekly and monthly status reports that detail work plan status, target dates, budget, and resource capacity. Facilitate regular project meetings and reviews. Ensure compliance with contract requirements and corporate policies. Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Execute tasks independently under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Project Managers. Evaluate project documentation, offering analytical insights into technical and security topics. Engage in client meetings to share observations and insights on relevant topics. Identify risk areas and potential issues requiring proactive management. Review and author vital artifacts, ensuring the identification of any gaps or inconsistencies that may jeopardize the project. Conduct security assessments and lead audit activities while providing strategic oversight for assigned clients. Communicate effectively with Senior Managers/Project Managers about risks and quality issues. Actively participate in interviews and focus groups to gather pertinent information aligned with the project scope. Ensure all project deliverables are completed in accordance with Maximus standards. Support the team in meeting responsibilities as defined in the project schedule. Assist with any additional tasks assigned by Senior Managers/Project Managers. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 7-10 years of relevant professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Job Specific Requirements: Availability to work during standard client business hours, with potential requirements for off-hours work. Minimum 7 years of experience in information security, including 3 years in security compliance within a regulated industry. At least 5 years of experience with HIPAA, NIST 800-53, CMS MARS-E, or ARC-AMPE security frameworks. Familiarity with operating systems: Windows, Linux/UNIX, OS/X. Knowledge of AI tools and capabilities. Strong understanding of cloud computing. Proficient in agile and waterfall software development practices. Excellent skills in desktop software applications (MS Office, Excel, Word, Project). Ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences. Proficient in developing advanced concepts and standards, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, with a capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal, team-building, and client relationship skills are essential. Outstanding verbal and writing skills, comfortable engaging with customers. Self-motivated, with a knack for quick learning. Preferred Skills: Experience in the Health & Human Services sector, specifically with Child Support, Child Welfare, or Integrated Eligibility programs. Security certifications, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), are preferred.
