Who are we looking for?
A Senior position of DevOps Azure Developer to perform detailed analysis and design, technical documentation, construction and implementation, unit and integration testing, and transition and deployment of software components and systems on complex projects. Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component to meet agreed business needs. Technical Skills:
Perform detailed analysis and design, technical documentation, construction and implementation, unit and integration testing, and transition and deployment of software components and systems on complex projects. You will also coordinate coding and testing activities and evaluate and verify various alternatives before making technical recommendations and resolving technical issues. In addition, you will coordinate various software development tasks with Development, Deployment, and Quality Assurance. Software prototyping and construction - Design, Build, and Modify existing business-tier components, Web applications, and database objects using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET Web API) and Azure. Create prototypes, if necessary, to validate proposed solutions and seek feedback from stakeholders Good understanding and experience following test-driven development and continuous integration practices Analysis and Design - Transforms high-level design into low-level design, and implementation. Work with Team Leads to properly define/clarify business requirements, development estimation, and work plan finalization Perform unit and integration testing on all developed code - Create and execute unit and integration tests within development lifecycle Proactively benchmark application code to mitigate performance and scalability issues Work with Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change control Support and Troubleshooting - Assist Operations Team with any environment issues during application deployment across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments. Assist other teams with troubleshooting problems that may arise from applications or integration of various components As a member of the Reverse Proxy Development team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Effectively use modern development/dev ops methods, including build and test tools to deliver high-quality software. Your work will include producing deployment artefacts and documentation, modify existing script, configuration, APIs etc. You will make use of automation at every step so that the time cycles can be rapid and reliable. Work closely with the team following agile standards. Collaborate closely with other groups within the organisation to understand their requirements of the platform and to support their use of it. You will maintain an understanding of industry trends and use this knowledge to bring new ideas to the platform Process Skills
Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews) Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge. Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity. Education/Certification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline 5 years of professional experience Dev-Ops tools: Jenkins and puppet are a must have and other CI/CD tooling Experience in Dev: Docker, Python, bash scripts, debugging, monitoring and logging Web technologies knowledge, Cloud / AWS awareness would be a plus Sysops awareness: Linux user / lover Willingness to learn and apply new skills Ability to manage own time effectively and to manage competing priorities Ability to work effectively in a diverse, globally distributed team Excellent verbal and written communication skills
