Über
This role will suit a Business Analyst with 2–3 years’ experience who is comfortable working across business and technology teams, supporting workflow automation, contributing to the development of a decisioning platform, and playing an active role across the full testing lifecycle.
You will work closely with underwriters, operations, and technology stakeholders to help build scalable business capabilities and improve end-to-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using a range of techniques (workshops, interviews, process mapping).
Support the design and delivery of workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Produce clear documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
Work collaboratively with developers, testers, and product teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Support UAT and business testing, including test scenario creation, defect triage, and stakeholder sign-off.
Assist in building repeatable business analysis capability, standards, and ways of working.
Engage with stakeholders at varying levels to ensure requirements align with business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
2–3 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in a change or technology environment.
Experience working on process improvement or workflow automation initiatives.
Exposure to decisioning platforms, rules engines, or decision-based systems (particularly within insurance or financial services).
Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
Experience supporting testing phases, including UAT.
Comfortable working in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience within insurance/London Markets is a bonus
Exposure to underwriting, policy administration, or insurance operations processes.
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar BA / delivery tooling.
