Job Summary
Doggett is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Service and Utility Support Specialist to support our service department with a wide range of administrative and customer service tasks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for both customers and internal staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, approachable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

  • Cashier customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and submit daily CBR (Customer Business Report) reports.
  • Scan and file repair orders for recordkeeping and compliance.
  • Greet and assist customers upon arrival.
  • Move customer and company vehicles as needed.
  • Support Service Advisors in assisting customers throughout the service process.
  • Assist Service Advisors in collecting payments from warranty companies.
  • Work with the Service Manager to help manage and reconcile accounting schedules.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule customer appointments and service bookings.
  • Run errands as needed to support department operations.
  • Conduct daily CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) follow-up calls for both Sales and Service departments.
  • Generate and distribute weekly recall and work-due lists.
  • Create Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
  • Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by the Service Manager.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative role; experience in automotive or service industries is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems (DMS) is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
