We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, insurance verification, and excellent communication skills to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process.
• Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits.
• Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system.
• Process payments and manage financial transactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and responding to emails.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
• Stay informed about office policies, procedures, and insurance plans including Medicare.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes and handling various insurance plans.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Needs to be at the office for 28 hours minimum.
