Location: Houston, Texas, United States
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement creative legal strategies for complex litigation cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts.
- Draft, review, and file litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Engage in discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions.
- Represent clients in court hearings and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their legal needs and objectives.
- Work alongside senior partners and other associates to strategize case handling.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and court rulings.
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the firm through high-quality legal work.
- Jurist Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible for admission.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
- Proficient in legal research tools and services.
- Minimum of 4 years and maximum of 6 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm.
- Demonstrated track record of handling high-stakes litigation matters.
- Experience in various areas of litigation, including commercial disputes, employment law, or intellectual property.
- Proven success in managing cases from inception through to trial.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Annual salary ranging from $310,000 to $390,000, commensurate with experience.
