Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly and reduce wait times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift moderate weights as needed
