Cook/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashiers & Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer interaction, with experience in the food industry, including dietary or culinary roles. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where excellent service and food safety are prioritized. The Cashier/Cook will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, handling transactions accurately, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station
• Assist with menu planning and suggestive selling to enhance customer satisfaction
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff with basic tasks when required
• Ensure food handling procedures comply with safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service during dine-in, takeout, or catering events
• Uphold food safety standards and proper hygiene practices at all times
• Assist in meal preparation, serving, and catering as needed to support overall restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary roles is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen operations is advantageous
• Experience with menu planning, food preparation, or fine dining is a plus
• Strong knife skills and experience in meal preparation are desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is beneficial but not required
• Flexibility to assist with various roles within the restaurant or catering services as needed

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour
