About the RoleAre you ready to take charge of growth in our Power & Pump division across Scotland & North East England ? As our Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers while uncovering new business opportunities. Your mission? To boost sales, rentals, and profits by targeting both existing and new market verticals.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this exciting role, you will:
Coordinate, manage, and execute the Sales plan for your territory.
Introduce the Carrier range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to expand our market share.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver industry-leading standards to our customer base.
Build strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers.
Prospect for new customers and explore opportunities with current clients.
Engage in continuous personal development to enhance your product and application knowledge.
Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM system.
Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
Assist in the collection of payments due for services provided in your territory.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Outside sales experience in generators or power generation equipment.
Experience with sustainable energy solutions like solar or battery storage, or plant rental experience is a plus.
Strong MS Office skills.
Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders and understand where our services are valued.
A self-motivated attitude and a passion for success.
A valid UK driving license.
