Are you ready to take the lead in transforming operations? Carrier is on the lookout for a Modernisation Operations Manager UK&I to spearhead our Modernisation P&L and ensure the financial success of our Projects Business across the UK and Ireland. This is your chance to oversee and drive the successful completion of modernisation activities, making a real impact on our organization!
In this role, you will be a visionary leader, guiding a talented team to manage complex projects aimed at upgrading and enhancing existing systems, processes, and infrastructure. You’ll implement strategies that boost operational efficiency, leverage cutting-edge technologies, and ensure a world-class customer experience.
Your Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement modernisation strategies that align with our organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of modernisation projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across Sales and various departments for seamless implementation.
- Customer Focus: Deliver high-quality service and cultivate key strategic customer relationships.
- Performance Tracking: Set benchmarks and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Financial Management: Monitor project expenditures, manage P&L, and report on financial performance to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project disruptions.
- Experience: Extensive experience in large-scale project management, particularly in modernisation or construction projects.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with previous team management experience.
- Industry Knowledge: HVAC industry knowledge is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency: Familiarity with project management methodologies, software, and tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Proven capabilities in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budget management skills and understanding of industry standards.
- Change Management: Experience in change management and process improvement.
