Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding EMEA Data Centre sales team. Based in the UK, this role will require around 10%-15% travel to connect with our clients and drive success.
Your MissionIn this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind new business initiatives and the expansion of strategic relationships with our data centre customers, including:
- Hyperscalers
- Colocation providers
- Enterprise end users
- Contractors and consultants
Your goal? Deliver short-term wins and long-term growth for our Carrier Data Centre business!
What Will You Be Doing?Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities across various sectors, including hyperscaler and colocation.
Act as the primary contact for strategic accounts, building strong, lasting relationships at multiple levels.
Develop new accounts by studying tenders, crafting offers, and negotiating to win clients.
Maintain a robust, insight-led pipeline aligned with a strategic account plan.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and inform your sales strategies.
Represent Carrier at industry events and networking forums to enhance our brand and pipeline.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of the data centre industry, strong sales acumen, and exceptional account management skills. Here’s what you need:
Proven experience in Key Account Management or business development within data centre infrastructure.
A track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving ambitious targets.
Technical knowledge of hydronic chilled-water and airside products is a plus.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel and utilize regional offices as needed.
Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy.
A proactive, hunter mentality with a focus on pipeline generation and disciplined execution.
