The Manager, Procurement & Analytics serves as a strategic and operational extension of the VP, Procurement, supporting enterprise-wide procurement initiatives, supplier management, and process execution. This role bridges strategy and execution helping design procurement programs while also ensuring they are implemented, monitored, and sustained. This position plays a critical role in driving consistency, controls, and value realization across the organization's procurement activities.
Essential Functions:
Partner directly with the VP of Procurement to execute the enterprise procurement strategy Lead day-to-day purchasing operations, including supplier coordination, issue resolution, and contract execution support Manage and maintain procurement analytics, KPIs, and performance reporting Support sourcing initiatives, RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contract lifecycle management Oversee formulary management processes in collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders Monitor supplier performance and compliance to pricing, service levels, and contract terms Support implementation and governance of procurement tools (e.g. Marketplace, Amazon Business, P-Cards) Serve as a key point of contact for site leaders and corporate partners on procurement matters Identify continuous improvement opportunities and help operationalize new process and controls Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred 5-8 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in healthcare Demonstrated experience supporting sourcing, procurement operations, and supplier management Qualifications / Skills:
Strong procurement and purchasing acumen Analytical capability with hands-on execution mindset Ability to translate strategy into operational workflows Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned initiatives with limited supervision Proficiency in Excel required Experience with BI tools preferred Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment Work Environment: Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
