A growing organization in Milford is seeking a hands-on, proactive Desktop Support Technician to join their onsite IT operations. This role is designed to streamline front-end support and reduce reliance on external deployment resources, with a clear ROI tied to a structured PC replacement schedule and potential project participation
What You'll Do
Perform desktop and laptop installations, replacements, and troubleshooting Assist users and be the front end of the support experience Work and resolve reactive tickets and work on proactive tasks as designated by the business and external IT provider Provide onsite support for end users across Windows and macOS environments Handle basic equipment swaps and front-line technical issues Occasionally support off-hours requests based on QTL's operational needs What You Bring
3+ years of support experience ideally in a mix of helpdesk situations and onsite roles Familiarity with macOS support and strong windows background Some server familiarity/understanding of IT business concepts. Strong PC hardware/software troubleshooting skills as well as application skills General networking knowledge; certification preferred or planned within first year Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
Stand outs: Certifications such as Network+, Comptia A+, Microsoft or other vendor certifications preferred
Server experience desired
365 administration/experience
