To work with the IT team and the wider business to identify, develop and implement improvements to complex technical systems and business processes. This will mean building a strong understanding of the business and forging productive working relationships with key stakeholders. You will then need to analyse the information you have gathered and use this to propose solutions, supporting your propositions with functional and systems design specifications. In addition, you will be involved throughout the development, delivery and testing phases, so will be able to influence the outcome of projects. Mentors junior team members. Key Accountabilities
Mentor internal IT team members in team using best practices Support business stakeholders with early business case production including business, technical and financial feasibility assessment Coach the business around how to articulate their business requirements and associated business benefits Act as a Business Analyst on critical IT Projects completing typical BA tasks including: Understanding and documenting business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions Identifying, documenting and validating integration and data requirements across systems to ensure end‑to‑end solution coherence Partnering with business users to fully surface their requirements; conducting interviews with key project stakeholders, documenting and presenting the results Assisting business users, project managers and IT leadership in optimising the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects; help manage expectations of users and management Analyzing the impact of change requests Supporting traceability from requirements through to QA; assisting in the definition of test plans and testing strategies and in the creation of test cases Assisting in the definition of roll out, training and user support plans Creating and/or reviewing manuals, procedures, and related user documentation; ensuring documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience Presenting concepts in a concise and focused manner, including narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams and business-focused story boards Special Requirements
6-8 years experience working as a Business Analyst Related Business Analyst work experience involved in large scale business transformation projects, and use of structured Business Analysis methodologies for multi-million pound projects Experience working and implementing projects in a Retail based environment Understanding of Retail / Warehouse Management Systems and Processes Flexibility to travel Position In Organisation

Experience
Essential: Proven Business Analyst experience involved in large scale business transformation projects in a retail environment Qualifications
‘A’ Level Or Equivalent — Essential: BCS Business Analysis Certification. Desirable: Degree level Skills & Knowledge
Related Business Analyst work experience involved in large scale business transformation projects, and use of structured Business Analysis methodologies for multi-million pound projects; Strong business focused Business Analyst with expertise in Requirements Development and Reporting; Experience of translating strategy and concepts into practical documentation; Proficiency in business process mapping and analysis; Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills; Good planning and time management skills; IT literate with MS Office; Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills; Ability to work in changing situations and priorities; Ability to work within a team; Experience of Systems Analysis, Data Modelling and/or Service Management assignments; Proficient knowledge of structured Business Analysis methodologies What’s In It For You
