Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, and surrounding areas
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods
• Adhere to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines at all times to promote a hygienic environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or pots
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organization
• Knowledge of basic food handling safety standards is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
• Experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation is advantageous but not required
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
