Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook with a brunch menu experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Line Cook. If you are interested, please be ready for an in-person interview. We close every Monday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all dietary needs are met with care.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cook or kitchen role within the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with various cooking techniques and methods is essential.
• Experience in catering or as a dietary aide is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field is highly valued.
