Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour
Location: Recovery Centers of America , 5034 Atlantic Avenue, Mays Landing, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 12:00pm-8:30pm Sunday-Thursday

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) in Mays Landing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Group Facilitator to deliver high-quality psychoeducation and specialty groups that support patient recovery and long-term engagement in treatment.
Position Overview
As a Group Facilitator, you will guide patients through structured group programming rooted in the RCA Care Model. You'll receive all curriculum and training necessary to ensure consistent, effective delivery. In addition to group facilitation, you will coach patients on essential recovery skills, foster a supportive treatment environment, and collaborate closely with clinical and RSS teams to promote patient safety and success.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychoeducational and specialty groups professionally and effectively.
- Uphold the RCA Care Model with consistency and fidelity.
- Promote patient engagement and escalate concerns to the treatment team as needed.
- Participate in supervision with the Clinical Director.
- Complete group notes and documentation accurately and on time.
- Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent, supportive way.
- Attend required trainings and develop skills for evidence-based interventions.
- Complete cross-training for the RSS role and support operational tasks such as rounding, safety searches, belongings searches, and general milieu management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Performance Expectations
- Consistent group attendance rates
- Achievement of AA rate and other measurable, outcomes-driven KPIs
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or the minimum education required by the state
- At least 2 years of related experience, preferably in a residential treatment setting
- CADC preferred
- Experience facilitating groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
