Interior Trim Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Trim Carpenter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with basic interior carpentry experience who takes pride in their work and is eager to learn and grow their skills. Experience with trim and finish work is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Basic interior carpentry experience required
• Experience with some or all of the following is preferred: Flooring installation
• Hanging interior and/or exterior doors
• Installing baseboard and casing
• Window jambs and window casings
• Candidates without door-hanging experience may be trained
• Strong willingness to learn and improve carpentry skills
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• High school diploma or GED (not required)

Responsibilities

• Install interior trim including case and base, window jambs and casings, crown molding, and other finish carpentry
• Install interior and exterior doors (training available if limited experience)
• Perform flooring installation as required (LVP, hardwood, laminate, or similar)
• Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately for clean, professional finishes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Read and follow basic plans, layouts, and instructions
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Work collaboratively with team members and other trades
• Follow company quality standards and safety procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
• Comfortable working indoors on active construction sites
