Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable, along with proficiency in POS systems such as TOAST POS and RESYPOS. The bartender will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing bar operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Operate POS systems including TOAST POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, especially during catering or banquet events
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or private parties
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies to promote guest safety
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST POS and RESY POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed for hospitality events
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or brewing equipment is beneficial
- TABC & FOOD HANDLER Certification
