Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team and deliver exceptional plumbing solutions on large-scale construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Your expertise will help create safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing infrastructure that supports our clients' needs from initial setup through final inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing layouts and specifications.
  • Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
  • Perform pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and soldering to ensure secure connections in complex plumbing networks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing fixtures, piping systems, HVAC components, and mechanical equipment.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules, ensure safety compliance, and meet project deadlines.
  • Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations during installation or repairs.
  • Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move materials or equipment around construction sites.
  • Read and follow schematics and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair plumbing systems in commercial settings.
  • Support remodeling projects by performing demolition, assembly of new fixtures, or upgrades to existing plumbing infrastructure.
  • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of commercial building standards.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and related mechanical components is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installations.
  • Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transport.
  • Maintenance Person experience or background in remodeling can be an asset for versatile project support.
  • Knowledge of pipe fitting techniques such as soldering or welding is advantageous. Pay: $ $33.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
