Site Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Superintendent to lead the day-to day construction of a $23 million project in Southern Alberta. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role for a strong field leader who knows how to run a site, coordinate trades, and keep work moving safely and efficiently.

You will be responsible for all on-site activities from mobilization through completion, ensuring the project is built safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of daily site operations
• Coordinate, schedule, and supervise all trades and subcontractors on site
• Lead daily site activities, sequencing, and trade coordination
• Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain and update schedules
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and code
• Enforce safety policies and lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Coordinate inspections and quickly resolve deficiencies
• Maintain daily site reports, progress tracking, and deficincy lists
• Review drawings, and identify constructability or coordination issues before they impact the schedule
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and quality control

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Supervisor
• Proven experience running large-scale projects ($15M+)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct trades and resolve issues on-site
• Valid driver's license
• Safety certifications (CSTS, WHIMS, First Aid) are an asset
