Join our team Locher Evers International ("LEI"), An EFL Group Company, industry leading and highly regarded freight forwarder, is growing rapidly LEI has an immediate opening in our Delta Office in British Columbia for a full time Customer Service Specialist, Pricing.

We are seeking a new team member that enjoys a fast-paced environment and is reliable, pro-active, that also has excellent analytical and organizational skills.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Handle all phone and email communications with customers, overseas offices, and origin agents regarding shipment arrangements.
  • Coordinate shipment planning and execution from origin to destination, ensuring accuracy of documentation and compliance with operational and customer requirements.
  • Track and monitor shipments on a daily basis, proactively providing status updates and resolving delays or service issues in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing accurate information on rates, transit times, routing options, and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while supporting new customer onboarding and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, documentation, and sales teams to ensure smooth shipment processing and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Review, verify, and approve MBL and HBL drafts to ensure accuracy and compliance with carrier and customer requirements.
  • Prepare weekly shipment reports, and other regular or ad-hoc reports as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CargoWise is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle urgent requests.
  • Knowledge of international shipping terms, Incoterms, and basic documentation processes is an advantage.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
