A cutting-edge robotics company in the Greater Boston area is scaling fast and looking for a Principal Embedded Engineer to lead firmware and control system development across their next-generation autonomous vehicle platforms.

This is a unique chance to join a high-growth start-up. You'll play a key role shaping the embedded architecture that powers their autonomous systems, from motion control and navigation to sensor fusion and system integration.

Requirements:

• Proven background in embedded systems or firmware engineering, ideally in mobile robotics, AGVs, AMRs, or autonomous systems

• Strong programming experience in C/C++ and familiarity with RTOS environments

• Deep understanding of control systems, including motion control, navigation, and sensor fusion

• Experience working with LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, encoders, and motor controllers

• Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, and UART

• Hands-on experience integrating software with hardware, sensors, and actuators

• Ability to lead at an architectural level while remaining close to technical execution
