YOUR MISSION
Role Overview
The Studio Lead Operations is an operational leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and financially sound operation of the Brand & Advertising Studio. This position oversees resource planning, budgets, systems, and asset governance, while acting as a key connector between creative teams and multiple business units. The role ensures operational excellence, process clarity, and timely delivery across branding, advertising, and promotional initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational management of the Brand & Advertising Studio, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality delivery, and on-time execution.
- Oversee resource planning, and workload optimization in close collaboration with creative teams, traffic management and Project Managers.
- Own Studio budget governance, including forecasting, expense tracking, cost analysis, and optimization of internal and external resources.
- Supervise the Studio's tools, systems, and digital asset governance, including licensing, usage rights, and compliance.
- Propose, document, and continuously improve operational processes and collaborative frameworks between the Studio and business units.
- Act as the primary operational point of contact between the Studio, business units, and internal stakeholders.
- Support talent development, onboarding, and the growth of the freelancer pool in alignment with Creative Leadership.
- Contribute to the Studio's strategic planning by providing reliable data, insights, and mid- to long-term operational vision.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
- 7–10 years of experience in operations, studio management, creative production, project management, or related roles, ideally within a creative, brand, or marketing environment.
- Proven experience managing complex operations, including resource planning, traffic management, budgets, and cross-functional processes.
- Strong expertise in budget planning, financial forecasting, expense tracking, and cost optimization.
- Solid understanding of creative production tools and ecosystems (collaboration tools, DAM systems, post-production tools, digital workflows).
- Demonstrated experience with asset management, licensing, and usage rights (photo, video, fonts, digital content).
- Ability to work effectively with creative, technical, and business teams in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder nvironment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to structure, prioritize, and continuously improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English.
- Analytical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to translate operational data into strategic insights.
- Experience working in hybrid environments involving employees, freelancers, and external partners.
- Based in Montreal and bilingual is a must.
