Certified Nurse's Aide

Oak Grove nursing home is currently accepting applications for Certified Nursing Assistant PRN for the 6AM - 2 PM shift on Saturday / Sunday. Applicant must have current certification in Texas. If interested, please come by 6230 Warren Groves to fill out application.

Certified Nurses Aide's Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
• Change linens and ensure patient rooms are clean and organized.
• Properly position patients to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
• Offer hydration and ensure patients are well-nourished.
• Check in on patients in the morning and night to monitor their condition.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• React appropriately to emergency situations.
• Provide high-quality care and support to residents/patients.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary.

Certified Nurses Aide's Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a CNA.
• Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to react to emergency situations appropriately.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
