Our client is a growing manufacturing and solutions provider specializing in Outdoor Merchandising and Outdoor Security Shroud/Cage products. Their solutions support fuel sites, home improvement retailers, and grocery chains by improving product visibility, security, and operational efficiency. As they accelerate growth, they are building a sales organization capable of securing long-term, high-value partnerships in these markets.

Role Summary

Our client is seeking a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead revenue generation and partnership development for our Outdoor Merchandising and Outdoor Security product lines. This role is critical to establishing our client's presence with fuel sites, home improvement retailers, and grocery chains, while building long-term customer relationships.

This position operates as an individual contributor in a hybrid inside/outside sales capacity. You will own your pipeline end-to-end—lead generation, prospecting, relationship building, negotiations, and close. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on building something from the ground up in a performance-driven environment.

As revenue scales, this role offers a clear path to future sales leadership, with the opportunity to build and manage a small sales team within 3–5 years.

You will directly support senior leadership by owning day-to-day sales execution, allowing the COO to focus on strategy and acquisitions as the company expands.

Key Success Outcomes & Responsibilities

1. Establish Core Partnerships & Drive First-Year Revenue

  • Build a qualified pipeline and close new business for Outdoor Merchandising and Outdoor Security Shroud/Cage products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our client's products, value proposition, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Generate and manage your own leads through proactive prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Establish partnerships across fuel sites, home improvement retailers, and grocery chains.
  • Achieve $1M in new revenue in year one, with deals positioned to scale toward $5M–$10M over three years.
  • Consistently engage decision-makers who can approve long-term, high-value contracts.

2. Build a Repeatable Sales Execution Engine

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to in-person meetings, negotiations, and close.
  • Demonstrate persistence and creativity when opening doors with large retailers and operators.
  • Balance inside sales activity with outside sales travel to build trust and credibility.
  • Develop disciplined tracking, follow-up, and pipeline management habits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers, laying the foundation for repeat business.

3. Position for Scalable Growth & Future Leadership

  • Leverage existing industry relationships and build new ones within the home/hardware sector (e.g., Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot), as well as fuel and grocery channels.
  • Provide ongoing field feedback to leadership on customer needs, objections, and market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the performance, mindset, and work ethic required to justify future team expansion.
  • Grow into a leadership role, with the opportunity to manage a small sales team within 3–5 years.
  • Act as a trusted sales partner to senior leadership during our client's growth phase.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, retail solutions, merchandising, security products, or related industries.
  • Comfortable building a pipeline from scratch and operating without heavy structure.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience selling into home improvement, fuel, grocery, or big-box retail environments is highly preferred.
  • Confident, engaging senior-level decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow into leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
