Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental charts, and radiographs to develop effective treatment plans.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Document all medical and dental records meticulously using electronic health record systems such as OpenDental software.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including endodontics, implantology, and dental fabrication techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist.
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental office procedures and protocols.
• Proficiency in using dental software platforms such as OpenDental for documentation, and medical records management.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques.
• Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery with confidence.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
• Ability to follow aseptic techniques diligently and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy. Pay: $105, $180,000.00 per year
