About the RoleAs a Specification Sales Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing relationships with consultants while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your mission? To promote Carrier solutions through exceptional product, design, and technical support, ensuring compliance with industry legislation and achieving sales targets.
Your Responsibilities- Manage and nurture relationships with nominated and geographical mechanical consultants.
- Identify and target new customers, including M&E Consultants, Architects, and Developers.
- Provide product and project design support to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets while developing new business opportunities.
- Guide customers on the correct use and application of our products.
- Offer industry insights and guidance on legislation for future protection.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to track customer progress and highlight new business opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to secure orders and develop inquiries.
- Collect and report on industry knowledge and competitor analysis.
- Proven experience in building strong relationships with Consultants, M&E contractors, Architects, and AC contractors.
- Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems or chillers.
- Sales background in HVAC or a similar field (experience with VRFs, chillers, or DX is a plus).
- Familiarity with competitor offerings.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player.
