Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun (On-site, with a recruitment day in Glasgow)

Salary: £38,662.00 (plus a potential shift allowance of 33%)

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver world-class naval ships. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
• Upholding engineering standards with a focus on quality from the start
• Utilizing a variety of hand tools
• Applying your hand skills for both manufacturing and installation
• Interpreting manufacturing and installation drawings

We’re looking for candidates who bring the following:

• A Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers required)
• A solid understanding of SHE and COSHH risks, along with manufacturing processes
• Comfort in working in confined spaces and/or at heights
• Safety certifications (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height)
• A background in a major construction or manufacturing environment
