Join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland, as an Order Picker! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary focus will be on locating the correct products, quantities, and ensuring they are prepared for the next stage of the fulfillment process. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong understanding of warehouse layouts and inventory systems. You will work with pick lists or scanning devices to identify and collect items. A keen eye for detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, you must strictly follow all safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. This job involves considerable physical activity, including walking, reaching, bending, and frequently lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will collaborate with packing and shipping associates to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify product locations and quantities.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked to fulfill orders.
- Transport picked items to the packing/shipping station.
- Maintain productivity standards and meet daily picking goals.
- Assist with keeping the picking areas organized and clean.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting practices and the use of PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages encountered during picking.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the fulfillment process.
