Provo, Utah seeks a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics center. This role is vital for the efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking merchandise safely and accurately. We are committed to maintaining a secure work environment and require all operators to adhere to strict safety standards. Previous experience and a valid forklift certification are mandatory. Key duties include:
- Safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transporting materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Performing daily pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting any issues.
- Assisting with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Strictly following all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participating in other warehouse tasks as needed, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operations of our logistics hub.
