We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked from inventory and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for reading pick lists, locating items within the warehouse, and carefully packing them to prevent damage during transit. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount in this position. You will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are correct and meet our quality standards. We foster a safe working environment and require all team members to adhere to safety protocols and utilize necessary PPE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Identify and report any damaged or incorrect items.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order forms.
- Capable of consistent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
