You will be responsible for operating forklifts to manage inventory, load and unload trucks, and support various warehouse functions. Responsibilities:
- Safely maneuver forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear mandated PPE.
- Support other warehouse operations as directed.
Qualifications:
- Current forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
