Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload deliveries from various carriers.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Document all received items accurately in the inventory system.
- Organize and stage received goods for appropriate placement or processing.
- Maintain a clean and safe receiving area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control.
- Awareness of workplace safety best practices.
