Join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating specific items within our warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a strong commitment to accuracy. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. - Accurately select products from inventory based on order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Conduct quality checks to verify order accuracy and product condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Utilize scanning equipment and other tools for order fulfillment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Follow all established Lifting guidelines and best practices for safe handling.
- Wear and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain process.
- Report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Awareness of warehouse Safety protocols.
